Community Program Roles

School operations- Administration, Transportation & Maintenance

  • Transportation Driver (Van) 5-20 hours per week. Hourly rate DOE starts at $20/hour

  • Transportation Driver (Class C School Bus)  5-20 hours per week. Hourly rate DOE (starts at $24/hour)

Part time roles: 8-10 hours per week ($13-16/hour unless otherwise noted)

  • Dishwasher
  • Prep Cook
  • Culinary Operations Assistant

  • Facilities Assistant
  • Grounds Assistant

All positions above are benefit eligible at 1,000 hours  worked in a year

167-172 student contact school days in a school year, up to 15 days of staff time and meetings for inservice in addition to student contact days. As an example, we begin inservice August 22nd, Begin School September 4th, Graduation on May 30th, and last in person day for teachers is June 4th.

Licensure note: VCS can support successful candidates with a B.A. to attain licensure in teaching - if you have interest and appropriate experience, but don't yet have a teaching license, please apply!
