TimePeace Champion

Champion role

The role of a Champion will be to work in an Events Team to run informal local events and workshops, for local communities both local, refugee and asylum seeker to meet on an informal basis, have fun and hopefully learn something new. So far we have run art classes, museum visits and wallet making, and all ideas for new events are welcome and encouraged.

Who can be a Champion?

Anybody. No skills are required as long as you have a bit of energy and a bit of time to meet some new people and create something in your community. If you do have skills, whether this be languages, communications and organisation, or strong links with local community groups then this is all the better, and please let us know.

What is in it for you?

As a Champion you will be at the heart of making TimePeace happen. You will be fundamentally helping improve integration of local communities. As well as this you will also meet new friends, learn new skills both through the events themselves and through the process of making them happen and learning from the team around you.

Unfortunately we are not yet in a possesion to offer this as a paid role. But can offer you a great team and fun experience!

How to be a Champion?

If you are interested in the role, then please fill in this short form.

This will let us know the best Team for you (all teams are based on location) and what your time commitments are, as well as a rough understanding of the skill sets in each team.

Don’t worry if your availability is likely to change, with a large team around you we can ensure flexibility and support in your volunteering.
