DISCOVER THE 10 STARTUPS LEADING AI-DRIVEN GLOBAL FINANCIAL TRANSFORMATION!
Melbourne, Thursday 2nd November 2023 - 10 fintech startups from 8 different countries, leading the next generation of AI-driven global finance, have been selected to be part of Startupbootcamp Australia’s (SBC) Sustainable Fintech 2023 Cohort.
Driven by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals along with the emerging trends around AI & Machine Learning, SBC’s Sustainable Fintech Program themes are characterised by five distinctive sub categories including: Generative AI, Fraud Prevention, Embedded Finance, Defi & Blockchain, and Financial Services in the Metaverse.
The program is also focused on the theme of Sustainable Finance, which is broken down into 3 smaller categories: Financial Wellbeing & Inclusion, Sustainable Business Practices and Communities, and Financing Sustainable Growth and Resilience. Each startup joining the program is passionate about innovating these themes and committed to making a change in one or multiple of them.
After hundreds of hours of reviewing applications and interviewing the brightest minds in fintech, the SBC team has hand picked the top 10 fintech startups from around the world. They have been put through numerous rounds of interviews and intense selection processes to determine the quality of their product, their passion as a team and their response in the face of challenge.
Over the next 3 months, 10 up-and-coming fintech startups will participate in SBC’s intense accelerator program; designed to provide the tools necessary to catalyse the startups from their initial launch to developing a highly scalable business model with solid revenue growth.
From Romania, to Kenya, Spain, the US, Nigeria, New Zealand, the UK, and Australia, this year's cohort of inspiring and innovative entrepreneurs are all determined to revolutionise the future of finance and make a global impact.
The Sustainable Fintech 2023 cohort includes:
- AiREBA (QUANTPS): [Melbourne, Australia] A data analytics company that helps banks and their clients buy and sell residential real estate better.
- DoGood People: [Madrid, Spain] An integral platform that enhances the sustainability culture, engages the talent and manages the evolution of the employee contribution while extracting all its corporate value.
- Inaam: [Melbourne, Australia] The ImpactOS reinventing investing to change the world. Once curated impact portfolio at a time.
- NuCash: [Santa Clara, United States] India’s only zero-balance savings account with no fees that’s exclusively for students to simplify and empower their financial management experience.
- Paysquad: [Invercargill, New Zealand] Makes it easy for groups to split the cost of their cart, right at the point of sale in retail, ticketing, and travel verticals.
- Pesira Technologies Limited: [Nairobi, Kenya] An agricultural financial aggregator offering financial inclusion, transparency, accountability, traceability, data analytics, credit risk assessment, payment gateway and more.
- RegeneX: [Melbourne, Australia] Enables sustainable investment through DLT and tokenisation to drive inclusivity, liquidity, and efficiency in Real-World Asset (RWA) investment.
- The Connecter: [Bucharest, Romania] a DeFi Super app offering a full suite of decentralized financial tools for the everyday person.
- Trove: [Lagos, Nigeria] A micro social investing platform that helps Africans invest in global opportunities, build wealth, and take charge of their financial future.
- Vabble: [London, United Kingdom] Enhances access to liquidity providing faster payments for export companies in emerging Markets by monetising their receivables from reliable US, EU, and UK buyers.
As the startups go through the program, they will be supported by industry leaders and get tailored support from experienced partners including: Amazon, Stripe, Hubspot, KHQ Lawyers, Facet 5, Pitcher Partners, FCX, DIUS, Parpera, and the ASX. By connecting the passion of our partners, to the eager startups and our well-connected network, the Sustainable Fintech program will bring a positive impact to the finance industry.
