Ian And Sharon Wing have volunteered to arrange the party.

I have confirmed that the room is available at that time and have reserved it.

We have our holiday get together at the Beverwyck on December 9th in the afternoon.

Meetings in January and February

We traditionally have not had meetings in January and February, but that could be changed. There were some people at last month's meeting who indicated that they would attend such a meeting.

  1. Hold no meetings in January and February.
  2. Hold January and February meetings at the regular time and place. January 11 and February 8 at 7pm
  3. Hold January and February meetings earlier in the day at the regular place. January 11 and February  so people don't have to drive in the dark,, but people that work wouldn't be able to attend.
  4. Hold January and February meeting on Saturday afternoon January 13 and and February 8

I have confirmed with Beverwyk that any of those choices would be OK with them

Volunteer - programming for the meetings, refreshments for the meetings

Funding for Dance through PD

Nancy and I have worked to get PD Dance to Albany, and so far it is well attended and is a great class. Hope Soars funded training for our dance teacher, and we appreciate the help.

Nancy and I worked out an arrangement with the Ciccotti Center that guarantees that they will not lose money by providing the space and instructor. During the summer, when attendance was low, we missed our attendance number goal, and made a payment to prevent a loss to the Ciccotti Center. We think that attendance will pick up in the Fall and the Ciccotti Center has said that they will promote the class more in the Fall, so more monetary help may not be needed.

Our group will allocate up to $300 from our treasury to be used to support PD dance if needed to make Dance Through PD self sustaining.
