2 Tournament Format

2.1 Swiss

Each round teams are paired based on current Win/Loss records.

Matches are a Best of 3 series of games. The first team to win 2 games wins the match.

Round 1 is paired randomly.

2.1.2 Swiss Tiebreakers

If teams are tied for position at the end of the tournament, the following tiebreakers will be implemented in this order:

All Scores are reported on Battlefy. The winning team is responsible for reporting the correct match score. The losing team must check that the entered score is correct. If the match is a draw, the team that won the coinflip is responsible for submitting the score.

Scores should be submitted per game won e.g. Team A won 2 games, Team B won 1 game, Team A enters the score as 2-1.

A screenshot of the match end screen is required when submitting a score.

3 Game setups

3.1 Lobby Setup

All lobbies will be set up in the “Tournament Match” mode.

The team that is listed first on the fixture is the “host”. Each host team’s admin will input a lobby code, the host team’s opponents must then be sent the join code by the host team’s admin.
