Internship Positions Available with Grassroots Climate Organization - Spring 2019

Better Future Project is offering 2 paid part-time internships (“350 Mass Organizing Intern” and “Campus Organizing Intern”) for Spring 2019 for a current or recently graduated college student through the Mass Clean Energy Center Internship Program.

Position Details

Compensation:

Up to $3,600 for the semester ($15 per hour)

Hours:

Flexible. Part-Time. Max. of 240 hours total, btwn 10-25 hours/week for 12+ weeks

Start:

Flexible. January 2019

End:

Flexible. Late April to mid-May 2019, between 12-15 weeks after your first week.

At our office at the Democracy Center in Harvard Square, Cambridge near the MBTA Red Line

Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for people with a demonstrated interest in issue-based grassroots organizing. Past experience with campus or community organizing and advocacy are desired, but not required as long as the candidate demonstrates a strong interest and passion for the work. People of color, people identifying as LGBTQ, lower-income, and people with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

350 Mass Organizing Intern

The 350 Mass Organizing Intern will assist with supporting and mobilizing our 350 Mass statewide community organizing network.  Some main responsibilities will include:
