Volunteer Working Agreement

Knowledge of the Mahābhārata is essential for every practicing Hindu. Vyoma Labs under the leadership of Shri Vishvas, a volunteer for Vyoma Labs has embarked upon the project; funded by Indic Academy to record all the shlokas of Mahabharata through paid volunteers and make it freely and publicly available on the internet. This Volunteer Working Agreement (VWA) is a description of the arrangement between:
in relation to the paid voluntary work for the Mahabharata Audio-book project. The intention of this VWA is to assure you that we appreciate your volunteering with us and to indicate our commitment to do the best we can to make your volunteer experience with us a positive and rewarding one.
Vyoma Labs accepts the service of the Volunteer for the recording of the Mahabharata shlokas in accordance with classical standards of Sanskrit pronunciation. It shall endeavour to do the following:

I represent to the best of my knowledge, that I have no commitments to former or current employers or other entities that would restrict me in volunteering for Vyoma Labs.
This VWA is binding in honour only, is not intended to be legally binding contract between the parties involved and may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of either party. Neither party intends any employment relationship to be created either now or at any time in the future.

 The methodology shall be as described in the project website at https://sanskrit.github.io/projects/audio/mbh-audio/ . Volunteers will by notified of any major updates.
 We’ll use any leftover funds for similar projects to spread the light of vedas and shaastra-s.
 This can invlove re-recording or editing one’s recordings for corrections.
