Career Assessments

Instructions:

1. Go to: https://www.careeronestop.org/ExploreCareers/Assessments/self-assessments.aspx
2. Click “Interest Assessment” on left hand side
3. Click on hyperlink text for “Interest Assessment” in text body on page
4. Click “Start Assessment”
5. Complete assessment by taking your time to answer each question as accurately as possible.
6. Fill in the following table based on your results at the end of your assessment:

7. Once your chart is filled out click on “Explore Careers” in the top header
8. Down below where the green box says “Explore Careers at a Glance” Click “Skills Assessment”
9. Scroll down to where you can click on the hyperlink of “Skill Matcher”
10. Click “Start Skills Matcher”
11. Complete assessment
12. Fill in the following table based on your results:

13. Once your chart is filled out click on “Explore Careers” in the top header
14. Down below where the green box says “Explore Careers at a Glance” Click “Work Values”
15. Scroll down to where you can click on the hyperlink of “Work Values Matcher”
16. Click “Get Started”
17. Complete the assessment by reading the instructions and dragging the boxes to the columns they MOST correlate to. You can switch these around as needed before submitting.
18. Once all boxes are where you want them, click “See My Results
19. You will get a bar graph with many colors. In the table below, put your work values in order of greatest importance to least and what numbers you received with each.

20. Once you have completed all three assessments and your tables are all completed you can turn in the assignment and look through your results while the rest of the class finishes up. If you finish early, feel free to work on something else at your seat.
