Have you heard about the Robb Elementary School shooting in Texas?  On May 24, 2022, a man entered an elementary school with a gun and started shooting.  He got into the building through an unlocked door.  He was in the building for 40 to 60 minutes.  The police showed up quickly.  However, they did not go into the building.  They surrounded the building, but did not go in.  When parents tried to enter the building, police officers blocked and tackled them.  The man shot 19 students and two teachers.  He also shot others in other places.  All together 22 people died and 18 were injured.  The shooter also died after getting shot by police.  

Once again, liberals and conservatives are debating.  Liberals say that we need strict gun laws.  Conservatives say that we should focus on mental health.  Also, conservatives say that liberals want to ban guns.  Liberals say that just isn’t true.  

Do you remember Beto O’Rourke?  He ran in the 2020 Democrat Presidential primary election.  Beto promised that if he won the 2016 election, yes, he would confiscate people’s guns.  Now other Democrats are saying similar things.  

The Second Amendment of the Constitution allows people to own guns to protect them from a tyrannical government.  

The Texas school shooting happened because the parents did not pay attention to their child.  Also, the shooter entered through an unlocked door.  Lastly, the police were slow to respond.  Liberals, however, try to blame the gun.  

Suppose the man could not obtain a gun.  Do you think he would have given up on his shooting plan?  I say, no.  The Internet shows how to make a bomb using household cleaning chemicals.  Have you heard of Timothy McVeigh?  He destroyed a government building in Oklahoma, killing 168 people, using a bomb made from fertilizer.  He didn’t need a gun.
