Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.

● Mayor Eric Garcetti today issued a “Safer at Home” emergency order, calling on residents of the City of Los Angeles to stay in their residences and limit all activities outside of their homes beyond what is absolutely necessary for essential tasks.
● Mayor Eric Garcetti has extended the “Safer at Home” order until May 15, 2020 - we will post additional information as we receive it.
● ANGELENO CARD COVID-19 EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE for many people that will not be able to get Federal Assistance for a number of reasons but are severely impacted by the Covid-19 crisis. Visit hcidla.lacity.org or www.academiaavance.org/covid-19

● House Teachers are contacting families who indicated they were in need of a laptop device today and tomorrow for the next scheduled date to distribute.

● The second Chrombook distribution date will be April 16th from 09:00AM - 12:00PM
