  1. Personal Plan for Kip M. Twitchell
    1996

This personal plan reviews last years' goals, evaluates my grid placement and possible long-term grid progression, and sets short-term goals for the coming year.

  1. Review of Last Years Goals

I set the following goals last year

I have achieved these goals to a large extent.  Spiros, with Rob’s help, performed most of the day to day tasks required to maintain Geneva as a product.  They also improved the processes of system testing and migration.  This has freed Randy and I to pursue other client assignments.  I worked on the RxAT and Keebler projects, consistent with the third goal.

  1. Grid Placement

Information Technology.  I am pleased to have been promoted to a level IV this year in IT.  I need to continue developing my abilities in this area.  During the year I have developed and shown the ability to understand and apply different technologies on different platforms.  I have proposed goals to continue this development.

Project Management  I believe I could develop the ability to manage projects effectively.  However, I am often “too nice” to perform some of these duties in the short-term. I am not currently interested in pursing these skills.

Practice Building.  I believe I have the skills to perform well in practice development activities.   I have participated in various trade-shows with Geneva; actively pursued relationships with the PW Data Warehousing team, IBM Global Network and various SAP projects; and assisted to develop a data warehouse size estimating methodology.   I have proposed goals to continue this development.
