- Explore Pivot: explore the Pivot stickfigure animation program on your desktop, see if you can figure out how it works and create something fun with it! Please help the person next to you if they don’t remember how to use the program
- Do you know how to add a background, animals and letters to a Pivot animation?

- Here are the basic instructions
- Move the entire character around by the orange dot in the center
- Move the character’s limbs around by the red dots
- Make SMALL changes
- Click Next Frame after each change
- Zoom in or out using the number box
- Change colors using the ‘Colour’ button (it’s spelled differently than we spell it)
- Click the play button to view your animation
- Use the slider to control the speed of your animation
- There’s no need to save anything today unless you want to!

- Practice with Pivot and save your creation as a gif

- Create 3 different Gzaas styles with your first name and Snip them to your notebook. Experiment with different settings to see the cool effects you can create! Watch the video help in green below to see how the app works.

- View some pivot examples made by other students
- Finish your Pivot example from yesterday (if you saved it) and if you didn’t, make a new one
- Add a background image to your Pivot if you can (you don’t need one though)
- Snip your Pivot program view to your Notebook
- Save your Pivot to your desktop as a gif and drag it onto your page so it will play in your notebook automatically. Here’s how:
