How to Fall in Love with The Family of God

Encouragement

“Supporting God’s Family with Our Gifts and Talents”

You are an integral member of supporting God’s family with our words, gifts, and talents.

Ephesians 4:11–16

1 Corinthians 12

Romans 12:3–8

Connect our gifts/talents to encouragement.

How do our gifts/talents help in encouraging one another?

TOOL

If you do not know what your spiritual gifts/talents are, consider doing a spiritual gifts survey or asking trusted brothers and sisters.

What do you think are your gifts and talents that God has uniquely blessed you with? Would your brothers/sisters agree with that?

Three Circles

Consider the three circles of relationship that North Wake has emphasized. How can you apply your gifts/talents to each of the three circles? Consider your unique giftings. Be open to having a brother/sister who knows you well confirm your gift identification.

Reflect openly and honestly on whether you are faithfully stewarding the gifts/talents God has given you.

Pray

  1. God would reveal and confirm your unique gifting.
  2. Thank God for the gifts/talents He has given to each of us.
  3. You would commit to using that gift for the church.
  4. We would give praise to all for how each other’s gift complements everyone else.
  5. We would be unified in our relationship with each other.
