Investment Research Intern - Ujima Fund

Position Summary

Boston Ujima Project is seeking two investment research  interns to join and support Ujima’s Fund Management Team.  Ujima Fund Investment Research  Interns will apply their analytical and interpersonal skills to support the Ujima Fund’s unique, community led due diligence process. Ujima Fund Investment Research  Interns will have a high level of responsibility and will be encouraged to empower themselves by owning their positions and making important contributions to the team. Ujima Fund Investment Research Interns will learn more about transformative practices in economic development and the technical assistance and capital landscape for small business development in Boston.

Time

Part Time: 15-20 hours per week

Compensation

Currently unpaid; willing to provide stipend if needed or desired

We will strive to provide opportunities for Ujima interns to align outcomes of their contributions to Ujima with building out their career portfolios (i.e. authorship of reports, opportunities to present to communities on panels and accompanying documentation, etc.), by the completion of their internship.
