Q. How & When Do I Pay?
- Our market accepts credit cards and SNAP/EBT. Regardless of selected Payment Preference, all customers must have a debit or credit card on file. Credit cards are processed Thursday after your pickup time so we only charge what ends up in your bag. A successful order will always follow with an email confirmation, which you should check right after you place your order. If not in your inbox you should check your spam/promotion folder
Q. What if I am unable to pick- up at the scheduled time and location?
- If you can not pick up your order or find someone to pick up for you, call us immediately at (808) 658-5234 to see if it is possible to pick up at a later pick up location. If your order can not be picked-up, your credit card will be charged and the groceries will be donated to an ‘ohana in need
Q. Do you offer a delivery service?
- Yes! We offer islandwide delivery to either your home or your workplace. Delivery is free $10 delivery fee and a minimum order of $25 and free deliveries on orders over $75! FREE deliveries for residents of Home Pumehana-Hale Mahaolu and SNAP-EBT cardholders. If you have special circumstances, you may be eligible for a Delivery Fee Waiver. Please contact us at mobilemarket@sustainablemolokai.org or to learn more.
Q. Why did an item say it was sold out after it was in my cart?
- To reserve the items in your cart, you need to “Confirm” your order. Until the order is officially confirmed, inventory can change and items may become unavailable. Shop on Sunday when the store opens for the best selection and availability!
Q. What If my produce is not in good condition when I pick my order up?
- We do our best to inspect products for quality control. Please keep in mind many of our producers are small natural backyard farmers. We will do our best to either replace the item or provide you with a credit.
Q. Who does my order support when I shop through the Mobile Market?

EBT Retail Customers
Q. Do You Accept SNAP/EBT?
- Yes. We accept the Food Stamp function of the EBT card, but not the cash function. If you have any problems updating your account “Payment Preference” to EBTRETAIL, contact mobilemarket@sustainablemolokai.org. Please note: regardless of selected Payment Preference, all customers must have a debit or credit card on file. Credit cards are used to purchase non-EBT eligible items, as well as a backup for unpaid orders (after 1 week of non-payment).
Q. How do I use my SNAP/EBT & DaBux on products?
- You can purchase several groceries at our market by using your SNAP/EBT Card. Eligible items include:
- Produce
- Proteins: Meats, eggs, dairy products
- Prepared foods & beverages (not including hot prepared foods)
- Baked goods
- Edible plants and seeds
Because SNAP doesnʻt currently allow for online processing, you must be available on Thursday with your SNAP card at the pick-up or delivery site. Your card will be run in person at that time.
Q. What if I’m a SNAP/EBT customer and can’t pay at pickup?
- If non-payment occurs because of no card, low balance on card, or you don’t show up at the time of pick up, you will have to pay by debit or credit card. The DA BUX discount will not be applied to the portion of your order paid by debit or credit. In certain circumstances, we may be able to carry the EBT charge for one week following your missed pickup. In this case, orders not paid the following week will be charged to the credit card on file.
Q. What if I need home delivery but will not be home to provide my SNAP card?
- We are happy to deliver to you wherever you are! Just let us know ahead of time where your groceries need to go. Once we are en route on Fridays, changes are very difficult to make. If a cardholder is not present to provide your SNAP/EBT card, we are unable to use your SNAP benefits and will need to charge the credit/debit card on file.
Q. Does the Mobile Market honor the Double Up Food Bucks (DA BUX) program? and what products are eligible to receive the discount?
- Yes. Everyone paying with SNAP/EBT will have the DA BUX discount applied on eligible items (Vegetables, fruit, poi, herbs and edible plant starts and seeds receive a 50% discount). Examples: $50 in qualifying produce = $25 discount. Your order confirmation will list and total all eligible items. We manually double check the discount according to the rules of the program. The discount is not reflected in your orders total but applied when we scan your card at pick-up.
