Betty is not afraid to show what she thinks is right around her family because she's more comfortable with them but she can be less herself around others because she doesnt know too well and become very shy

In the tv show when betty and don split for a bit she shows a side of her that is very dominant and taking power.

During the split betty definitely gave herself more power in the marriage she was in because of dons cheating and him treating betty and the marriage like garbage he's gained more respect for both over time

In the tv show betty's effect on others is usually very positive other than the one crazy person here and there. In a way she doesnt put a fully positive effect on don

Betty has very positive effects on others but it's complicated with son but that's not all on betty because don has a hard time sharing feelings that are “uncomfortable”

Betty is a wonderful and over polite hostess but when she's not being the “perfect housewife” she's being a great mom (other than wanting to spank her kids) and gaining power in her marriage.

To most everyone peggy is a very kind hearted and shy girl, quiet and calm but if your doing the wrong this morally she will call you out

Peggy seems quiet and kind and maybe not so smart (because she's a girl) but she is a very smart and hardworking person compared to half her office.

Thoughts

In peggys private thoughts she has a home disaster with religion but she plays on with it to make her mom happy

Peggy has a hard time believing her home religion the one she's grown with because of how her life has played out and how the religion made it so much worse than it could have been.

Effect on others

She is very sweet and polite but other people tend to poke at her because she's so underestimated like in the office how nobody can really accept that a girl is better than them. In a way she makes people mad

Peggy treats everyone how they should be depending on how they act and treat her. She is always being messed with and put down because the men she works with have big ass egos but she handles it very classy and slick

Actions

In the tv show peggy tells pete off for spreading embarrassing stories about their co worker and even thought peggy may not love the guy petes talking about she definitely stood up for him.

Peggy will stand for what she believes is right or wrong and stick with her guns  (accept religion)

Peggy by looks comes off as a goodie two shoes nerd in my opinion in the office in the show the girls think she's a show off and they mean well they don't quite know how to feel.
