The Annual Model Exhibition was held in the Malda College premises from 7th to 9th January, 2020. Twenty departments/sections of the college participated in the programme. Students of the Education Department contributed significantly in introducing the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS)that has been newly implemented in the Indian academia substituting the yearly 1+1+1 system. They tried their best to explain several facts relating to CBCS that are somehow still vague to many ones and explore certain benefits of this system. The Department of English, through their models, paintings/photos, and charts attempted to visualize some curious aspects of modern times--kids' increasing obsession with social media like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and others,  incessant psychological and situational pressures and the resultant psychological trauma. However, more significantly, they also pointed out certain ways (like music therapy, book therapy) to alleviate or to come out from such anxious/intense situations. History Department’s students tried to (re)emphasize the ‘unity in diversity’ as the significant historical as well as cultural aspect of India. The students of BCA Department visualized how, with the help of ultrasonic/laser waves, advanced technology can decrease the danger of accidents in the sloppy/steep roads in the hill areas. The Chemistry Department depicts the possibility of purifying the sea water to certain extents and provided the latest information regarding the scientific advancements towards mitigating the drinking water crisis forever. The Accountancy Department attempted to make the viewers acquainted with the whereabouts of mutual fund investments through excellently pertinent models that correlated the complex abstract concepts. Mathematics students presented the alternate easier ways of understanding vague mathematical formulas and pointed out how Mathematics are inextricably connected to our daily lives. Altogether twenty one departments of the college had participated in this exhibition. The college's library also had one counter where they pointed out the facilities they provide the students and the ways the college library can help a student.

To encourage the students, the top three presentations (in both laboratory-based and non-laboratory categories) were awarded. Geography in the lab-based category and Accountancy Department in the non-lab category won the first prize.
