Act 1 - Beginning
- There is a monster at the foot of her bed, watching her.
- She quietly gets out of bed and runs to the sunny living room.
- *Scene changes*
- Her mother is sitting on the single sofa chair, looking at the window (at birds). Lily gently hugs her. She does not acknowledge Lily. Her mother is depressed, never speaks and rarely does anything. She has bandages around her neck and wrists.

- *Scene changes*
- Lily goes down into the basement (her father’s office) and watches him work.
- Her father is a fashion designer.
- He is cutting up pieces of fabric and placing them on a mannequin.
- There are many mannequins in the room, most of them are pale white, but the one he is working on has red flowers growing on it.
- He notices Lily and gently pokes her on the forehead. A red flower forms on that spot.
- *Scene changes*
- Lily is heading to daycare and as she is about to leave through the door, she sees her father caress her mother’s cheek/face (in the living room). It leaves a trail of red flowers on her face and hair.
Act 2 - Conflict
- The monster follows her to daycare and hovers over her as she plays in the sandpit.
- She looks up and stares at the monster in the eyes. She gets nervous and leaves towards the nursery building.
- When she turns back, it’s gone. Then, she turns around again and it’s right in front of her face.
- It’s bending down and smiling menacingly.
- She screams a silent scream.
- The monster scares her so badly that she starts running without looking. She hits her head on a metal support pole from the playground.
- Red flowers start blooming on her face (forehead) and down her nose.
- Teachers run towards her and check on her (We see many hands reaching around her as she stares numb).
- She is sent home early for her injury. The monster trails quietly behind (blurred in the background).
Feedback (11/11/2021): At the sandpit, pick up and run immediately. Hastened the part where she breaks reality.
Show a clear difference between act 1 (clear, bright and happy) and 3 (dark, scary and scratchy)
Very nice flow to the story
Cute character sheets
Yes, it is horror theme, Ms. Anis considers it to be “disturbing”
Act 3 - End - Realization
- She enters the living room. Her mother is not there. It is quiet and dark. The monster is seen at the main door.
- She hears muffled sounds from her father’s office (the basement). The door is slightly cracked upon with light coming through.
- She cautiously goes down and stops near the top of the stairs. She stands frozen at what she sees.
- Her father is beating her mother’s limp body.
- She stands shocked (wide eyes)
- The bandage on her forehead forms a red flower and something in her snaps (show a line snapping) and the filter comes off.
- The monster gently holds her shoulder. (the first time the monster has ever touched her directly)
- The mannequins are dead, cold bodies.
- Her mother notices her and quietly whispers “run” (this is the only dialogue in the webtoon). There are tears streaming out of her eyes and light in them.
- Her father notices the daughter and begins stomping up the stairs.
- His hand reaches out, full of red flowers.
- The monster shields her and she closes her eyes.
The end.
Her father is a serial killer that abuses her mother.
The red flowers that she sees are actually a metaphor for blood.
The mannequins in the basement are dead bodies.
The point of the story is more so that Lily stops being afraid of the monster and realises who the real monster is. The “monster” could be a manifestation of her fear as well as a coping mechanism to the environment she was in.
