Cyber Security Summer Internship
Research & Teaching assistant for Cyber Defenders Program

Now in its second year, the Cyber Defenders Program is a 8-week internship program inspired by a similar program at Lawrence Livermore National Lab. The program provides community college students opportunity to develop cutting edge computer science & cybersecurity skills through classroom environment as well as projects developed with industry partners. Last year, our students worked on wide-ranging projects related to machine learning for malware analysis to developing a raspberry-pi powered intrusion detection device. We are looking for a motivated student with relevant cybersecurity and computer science background to join our team, and help mentor community college students through the program & projects.

Minimum requirements

This position is for independent internship, and applicants are expected to work onsite in San Jose, CA. The position will be based full-time on campus at San Jose City College from June 18-August 10th.  We expect the Teaching & Research Assistants to work some hours before the program starts to complete curriculum, planning, and logistics.
