This Week We… Math: One more and one less with teen numbers.
Science/ Social Studies: Continue learning about plants: parts, life cycle, how they are used etc Social Emotional Learning (SEL): May is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Month. Since 1949, the observance has explored the importance of caring for the mental health of children. Since children's mental health has become progressively more complicated in recent years, these observances have become even more important. This month is meant to promote increased awareness of mental health in children as well as resources meant to help the adults in their lives to assist them. This week, we will read “Visiting Feelings” and learn about how emotions feel in our bodies and increase emotional intelligence. | Next Week We Will… Math: Teens, groups of ten, counting on after a given number
