How To Add A New User To Your eStreamly Account

How to add videos to my website?

eStreamly offer different type of embeds that will enable you to create the best video experience you want to render on your website. To access the embed, go to the left menu, look for “Manage Content” > “Embed”

Single Player Video Embed

This embed will allow adding a unique video to a website. Let’s look at the different configuration available

Interesting Feature available you may want to know about.

Carousel Embed

Website checkout experience VS In-video checkout

If you add the embed on your site, you can choose the checkout experience that make most sense to you.

Video Category

Similar to the single player, by selecting specific categories, only videos from the categories you selected will be displayed on this carousel. If you don’t select a category, the next video will be the next video in the queue from all the public videos you have uploaded to eStreamly

Floating player

The floating player is a small video player that can be added on the corner of a webpage. This player will follow you as you scroll the page and can potentially follow you as you go through the different pages of your website

How to have the Floating player on one unique page

Get your embed code for the floating player and add it to the BODY of that specific webpage

How can the Floating player follow the users as they navigate the site

Get your embed code for the floating player and add it to the HEADER of your website. The floating player will start and follow you through the site. In this case you can select specific page you do not want the floating player to show

How to trigger the floating player using a URL command

If you have eStreamly javascript on your header, you can at anytime trigger the start of any video by adding ?videofullscreen={video ID} or ?videomini={video ID} at the end of your website url.

Example. You have this imaginary video

https://video.styleus.com/embedded-play?v=u6kFNnb7DGC

The video ID will be u6kFNnb7DGC. Now let’s supposed that you want that video to start when someone go to a website that already contain the floating player embed code on the header. Imagine that is the case for the site called: www.stylepro.com

If you want a video to get trigger through URL you can add /?videofullscreen=u6kFNnb7DGC at the end of any URL. Example on an about us page www.stylepro.com/about-us/?videofullscreen=u6kFNnb7DGC

⚠️ the URL trigger is case-sensitive

Issue to Connect a Facebook page

eStreamly simplifies the process of linking your Facebook Page to your account. Typically, all it takes is navigating to your broadcaster room, clicking on "Manage connection," and selecting "Facebook." After signing in, you can designate Facebook as a destination and pick your page from the available list. However, occasionally your page may not be listed as an option due to several potential reasons:

1. Incorrect Permissions

Before attempting to connect a page, ensure that you hold an "Admin" role for that page. Only page administrators have the capability to stream to a Facebook page. Unsure about your role? Click here to verify.

2. You’re logged in to the wrong Facebook profile

When using facebook.com, make sure you're logged into the profile that serves as an admin for the page you intend to connect. Click on your profile picture icon located in the upper right-hand corner, and double-check to ensure you're logged into the right profile.

3. You haven’t granted permissions for the specific page

When initially connecting to Facebook, eStreamly requests several permissions. You might have clicked on "Choose what you allow," enabling you to select the pages eStreamly can access. If you disable access to any pages, eStreamly will lose access to them, including any new pages you join after connecting to eStreamly. In such a scenario, you'll need to reauthorize Facebook

Reauthorizing your Facebook Account

Why is reauthorization required?

Several reasons may necessitate reauthorizing your Facebook account:

How to reauthorize

  1. Log in to your personal Facebook profile. Click the downward arrow icon in the top right-hand corner and a drop list will appear.
  2. Select the "Settings & privacy" option, followed by "Settings" again.

  1. In the "Settings" page scroll right down until you see the Your Activity section. Here you will see the option for "Business Integrations" - select that.

  1. Click Remove to remove the integration fully:

  1. Head back over to eStreamly, go to your room, manage connection and try connecting your destination again. When granting Facebook permissions, you have the option to “Choose what info you allow”. We don’t recommend doing this as it may cause continuous permissions issues. If you do, make sure you grant access for ALL requested permissions for each of the pages you want to use on eStreamly. As well as make sure that the privacy permissions are set to Public
