Not Quite All-American


"Is that in Africa?"  "Is your dad Jamaican?"  "Say something 'in Guyanese.'" Being raised by immigrant parents and balancing two very different, but equally important cultures was often a rollercoaster ride of hilarity and at times frustration. Being first generation American has always been a point of pride, but it also makes for some amazing lessons learned and even better storytelling. Ask me all about it!
