SoCalCross Prestige Series SCNCA 2018 District Championship Guide

Sunday, Dec 2rd - Greek Theatre/Vermont Canyon Park:

SoCalCross Prestige Series to host 2018 SCNCA District CX Championships Sunday, December 3rd at Griffith Park – Greek Theatre/Vermont Canyon Park which sits directly below the Griffith Park Observatory.  The Park is the City of Los Angeles largest and most storied park.  Visibility for this event  is unmatched across the region and is a prime location for the Championships.

Home to SoCalCross Prestige Series since 2010 including two weekends of UCI racing as CXLA, this weekend is primed for a hard fought battle-tested race course.  Distance will be shorter than most traditional courses approx 2.5 km, but with the sloped hillside and course design features will have lap times at a more than legal course minimum.  2014 course UCI women were doing 8 min laps and the men 7min.  We estimate 6 min for fastest riders and longer from there.
