Crooked Tree Youth Orchestras Spring Concert at CTAC

On Sunday, May 20 at 2:30 p.m., join the Crooked Tree Youth Orchestras Spring Concert, featuring members of all of CTAC's Youth String and Orchestra classes.

For nearly 20 years, Crooked Tree Arts Center has been offering string music instruction, and each spring the young musicians showcase their talents in a grand public performance. This spring, the Little Stars, Intermediate Strings, and Concert Orchestra classes will all be performing on stage in CTAC’s theater. The concert will conclude with the Crooked Tree Symphony Orchestra performing the first movement from Dvorak's New World Symphony, and “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin, featuring piano soloist Isaac Wittenberg.

All Orchestras are conducted by Kevin Richardson, Music Education Director.

The concert is free and open to the public, and will be digitally recorded in-house by CTAC.

Program support is provided by the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation, Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs, and the Petoskey Rotary Charities.
