Playing in tournaments is one of the best ways to improve your game, so we want to make sure players have lots of opportunities to play in both unrated and rated tournaments within Saskatchewan. We hold a variety of types of tournaments, including:

Unrated/mock (stress free but still tournament-like)
Various formats (blitz, rapid, classical)
Hybrid (online and in person)
Consecutive (series of games, ex. one round/week)
Rated (CFC)

We offer personalized, one-on-one coaching. We will meet with you for a consultation to get a sense of your skill level, your style, and explore what you would like to improve. We will then match you with one of our coaches that best fits what you are looking for.

Community partnershipS .

Chess has a way of drawing people in and magically creating connections between strangers or old friends over the board. If you are a festival, charity, or any other group with space and tables, let us know. We’ll set up our boards for the public to use at your event and provide volunteers to help facilitate games. Chess may be that unique “flair” that makes your event extra memorable.
