Some of the scholarships listed below will direct you to use the

Oak Harbor High School General Application.  Scholarships that indicate to submit to the Counseling Center can be submitted starting February 1, 2026.  Each scholarship needs to be submitted separately.  The application will be given to the donors for the selection process.

Scholarship:        Association of Old Crows Whidbey Roost Scholarship

Amount:        $1,500 (may be eligible for renewal up to 3 additional years)

Criteria:        Senior; pursuing 4-year degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics), US Citizen

Scholarship:        Elks Most Valuable Student – Local, State & National Level

Amount:        Varies (6 local scholarships given – 3 Whidbey Island males & 3 Whidbey Island females)

Criteria:        Senior; US Citizen; scholarship; leadership; financial need        

Apply:        Online at Elks Most Valuable Student Contest   (opens Friday, August 1, 2025)

Deadline:        11/12/2025

Scholarship:        Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce Business         

Amount:         $1,000 (2)

Criteria:         OHHS Senior; 3.2+ GPA, Has volunteered in the community and involved in                         extracurricular activities

Scholarship:        Knights of Columbus:  John E. O’Brien Scholarship

Amount:        $3,000 (2)

    Criteria:        Senior: Include resume on why applying and plans for after high school, community involvement; dedication and commitment, 3 letters of recommendation from teacher/pastor, Must have SAT or ACT scores, See complete criteria.

Amount:        $4,000

    Criteria:        Senior: Pursuing Engineering Degree, Include resume on why applying and plans for after high school, community involvement; dedication and commitment, 3 letters of recommendation from teacher/pastor. See complete criteria

Amount:        $2,000 (2)

Scholarship:        North Puget Sound Association of Realtors/George Koetje Memorial Scholarship

Amount:        $1,000

 Criteria:        Senior; 3.0+ GPA; letter of recommendation from OHHS faculty member; letter of recommendation from sponsoring NPSAR Realtor member, furthering education at an accredited WA State school; personal essay of 500 words or fewer.

Scholarship:  Oak Harbor Wildcat Booster Club Athletic Scholarship

Amount:           $1,000 (4)

Criteria:            Senior; 3.0+ GPA;

Scholarship:        Skagit/Island Counties Builders Association (SICBA) Scholarship

Criteria:        Senior; entering higher education; pursuing career in construction industry, 2.0 + GPA, or

        child of SICBA member
