Cortland Chenango Rural Services
- Cortland Chenango Rural Services, Inc., located in Cincinnatus, has been serving the needs of individuals and families in Solon as well as other rural areas of Cortland and Chenango Counties since 1987. The mission of Rural Services is helping those in need or referring them to an appropriate agency to meet those needs. Rural Services provides information, referral, emergency services, advocacy, networking, and community action. Community programs include a Farmers Market, a Community Garden and Walk Path, a Food Sense Program and the Nearly New Clothing Store. Solon Sportsman’s Club
- The Solon Sportsman’s Club, located at 4475 Sportsman’s Club Road, offers courses on hunter and trapper safety, hosts meetings, social functions, private parties, and offers Sunday morning pancake breakfasts and Friday wing nights.
