Parking will be either on the pay and display car park opposite the King’s Arms (free after 6pm) or free parking along Marine Road Central.

Please note that the designated hostelry for this event is the Kings Arms, but the registration, start and finish will all be from a car in the car park shown. The Kings Arms are expecting a number of diners, but unfortunately their normal food serving hours (up till 9pm) are not maintained at present because of the lack of trade. Instead, they will be serving up to 8pm.

The start will open from 6pm up to the usual 7.30pm to allow extra time to run before eating. The pub has requested that anyone wishing to dine there should pre-order to ensure that their choice of meal is available. A copy of the menu is appended below. Please email selections to results@sroc.org as soon as possible but no later than Saturday 1st January.

Of course all arrangements are subject to change during these unusual times. There are plenty of other eateries in Morecambe but if wishing to eat later you would need to make your own arrangements. If you are eating at the Kings Arms, please pop in before your run to confirm your order and agree a time that you will be eating. The provisional booking is under the name “Chris”.

We offer the usual score courses of 60 or 75 minutes. The map is to a scale of 1:10,000 and has been updated for recent changes. Fees are £3 adults, £1 juniors. Under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 16 & 17 year olds need parental permission to compete unaccompanied. Maps and answer sheets are printed on waterproof paper. If conditions are wet we recommend a pencil to record answers. Torches and high viz clothing essential.
