Reddit Guide for Founders Who Hate Reddit

Hey, It’s Sabyr.

I realized that most founders struggle with the same challenges.

Because of that I wrote this.

It’s not a miracle guide promising $100k/month. It’s just a simple framework to get unstuck.

Have a question? DMs are open :)

1. Reddit’s value

Reddit is special. Your posts last longer than on other sites.

On places like Facebook or Instagram, posts disappear fast - maybe a day or two. But on Reddit, people can find your old posts weeks or months later!

If you make something super helpful, it might show up on Google searches too. This means people could find your stuff for years.

People use Reddit to learn things and make choices. This gives you a chance to help them with their problems.

It takes work, but it's worth it!

2. What's Karma & How to Get It

Karma is like Reddit points. When people like your stuff, they click "up" and you get karma. When they don't like it, they click "down" and you lose karma.

You can get two types: post karma (from making posts) and comment karma (from leaving comments).

How to Build Karma:

Reddit Trick:

You can add links to your Reddit profile (like Twitter, Product link, etc).

Cool trick: Click "Custom" when adding links and put your website there.

When people visit your profile after seeing your helpful comments, they can easily find your website!

3. How Reddit Works

Going Viral

Posts get hot when they get 5-10 or more upvotes in the first hour. This makes them show up for more people!

Who's In Charge

If moderators ban you, you can't post in their group anymore. If admins ban you, your whole account is gone forever!

Following Rules

Each group has its own rules. What's okay in one place might get you in trouble in another place.

Always check the rules before posting!

4. Group selection

Pick niche groups that match your business

Finding lots of people is easy, but finding the right people matters more!

5. Content Strategy

Every Reddit group wants different stuff. Look at what's popular:
