
The RHHS Prom Committee is excited and ready to make this year’s prom the best ever! By following all guidelines listed below, we can ensure Prom 2022 is safe and secure for everyone on that special evening.
Wildcat Experience Dues
- Wildcat Experience Dues provide funding for awards, enrichment activities and events such as prom and graduation ceremonies. Wildcat Experience Dues will be collected through MyPaymentsPlus between now and March 3, 2022. Juniors and Seniors who have paid their Wildcat Experience Dues receive a complimentary prom ticket for their use at prom. (Tickets may not be transferred to another student.)
Tickets
- Once dues are paid, tickets may be picked up by RHHS Juniors or Seniors at lunch on East Campus from Monday, February 28 - Friday, March 4, 2022. (Ticket is required for entry to prom)
- Guest tickets are $50 and will be sold beginning Monday, February 1. No tickets will be sold after Thursday, March 3rd.
- Students must be clear from the Obligations List in order to attend Prom.
- You will be asked to register your guest before you pick up prom tickets.
- No guest may be 21 years of age or older. We will check ID for all attendees, so please have yours ready and ask your guest to bring one as well to the check-in table. We will ask anyone of legal age (21 or over) to leave.
- Guests must be either enrolled in high school or out of school. No one enrolled in middle school (no matter the age) is allowed to attend.
- If you plan to bring a guest (non-RHHS student or an RHHS Freshman or Sophomore), you must fill out the Guest Approval/Ticket Request form. (Guest form will open on February 1 and closes on February 15. )
- Anyone not registered will not be allowed into prom for any reason.
- We will notify you prior to prom if your date will not be allowed to attend.
Conduct and Dress
- Anyone giving the appearance of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be questioned by an administrator and a law enforcement officer. We reserve the right to question anyone and dismiss anyone from prom for any reason we deem necessary.
- Your guest must arrive with you. If your guest is not from RHHS or is not an RHHS junior or senior, he/she will not be allowed in without you. If you have already checked in and are in the building, he/she will be turned away at the door.
- Once you have arrived at prom, you may not leave the facility to go to your car until you are ready to leave. Once you have left the building, you may not return.
- Dress for prom is formal. No jeans, ball caps, shorts, or polo shirts. Ladies, you will not be allowed to wear any dress with cut-outs, plunging or revealing necklines, inappropriately high slits, or backs that are cut below the natural waist. If you have any questions, you must bring a picture of the dress to Ms. Hewitt, Ms. Hutchinson or Ms. Tanner. Students who are dressed inappropriately will be asked to leave.
- We do not allow crude or dirty dancing. You will be warned once, and after that, you and your guest will be asked to leave.
- We reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone for any reason deemed necessary by any school official.
- Large bags/purses and large bookbags/backpacks are not allowed. All bags are subject to search at any time.
Photo Opportunities
- UPDATE: No professional photographer will be available at the prom venue.
- A photo booth will be available for fun pics.
School Attendance
- Friday, March 25, 2022 is a full academic day and students are expected to be in attendance all day in order to attend prom.
