Find a place where you can lay down and spread your arms and legs out. This can be inside or outside. Now, make some snow angel movements! Do them slow, then do them fast. For a challenge, time yourself for 1 minute and see how many you can do! Time yourself again if you’re up to it!

Today you will continue to draft your original fairy tale while paying special attention to all that you have learned about dialogue. If you don’t have it in your fairy tale, then add it today.

  1. Complete this Punctuating Dialogue Practice Worksheet  as a reminder of how to punctuate dialogue. You need to print ir or make a copy.

  1. Use this Instead of Said list. Read over your draft and replace “said” with words that SHOW how the characters are speaking in your fairy tale.  Choosing just the right word will make a BIG difference with how we read the dialogue.
