JOHN JAY DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wednesday, December 4, 2024

Today is day 4

Attention Students

The 1st quarter honor roll for John Jay and BOCES has been posted on the bulletin board in our English Wing.

The John Jay Student Government will be partnering with the Children's Home in Poughkeepsie, NY for the 2nd consecutive holiday season for a donation drive. They were blown away at our generosity last year and we hope to keep it going! Some classrooms make it a competition amongst classes, and some will collect a couple of dollars here and there to put towards a gift card. I have attached the wish list we received from the Children's Home and will put one on every box.  They have given us 20 boxes to place in classrooms.     Our officers and advisors will be transporting everything to the Children's Home on Wednesday December 11th,  Donations can be brought to school where we have boxes in 25 different classrooms- or they can be dropped off  to Mr. Chiacchia in Rm 226  Childrens Home Holiday Donation List

John Jay's Annual Talent Show is back for 2025. Please sign up for auditions, which will begin on December 16th in room 212. There will be open calls in January as well. We are looking for talented students, teachers, staff, and hosts for the show. Let's show off our talent!
