Bid Competitions/End of Season Events: Additional events taking place at the end of the season, that our teams were awarded bids to at competitions attended throughout the season. Bids are awarded to teams that score/place high enough to earn a spot at a finals event, and can come in the form of paid, partial-paid/discounted, or wild-card/at large (unpaid). These competitions typically involve an end-of-season team bonding bash at a park (Disney, Universal, etc.), hotel stay, and a few days of family fun, which is why it is the target of most of our program fundraising efforts all season long.

Possible examples of end-of-season events include but not limited to :

Booster Club & Fundraising: Fundraising and Sponsorship opportunities will be available this season to help offset season costs. All funds raised for the team & our athletes are managed by the Nspire Parent Booster Club. You will learn more about The Booster Club, Fundraising and Sponsorship at your first parent meeting.

Team/Program Expectations

Attendance Policy: Each practice, competition, and team event is mandatory. We do make reasonable requests if your family has a pre-planned vacation or scheduled event that may conflict with a practice. Please make sure coaches & management are aware of it at least 2 weeks in advance so it can be excused.

— Excused Absence Examples:

Random no-shows, aside from emergencies, will be considered unexcused absences. If an athlete accumulates more than 3 unexcused absences, he/she will be dismissed from the team. The same applies if more than 3 tardies greater than 10 minutes are accumulated.

**Missing a competition for any reason aside from emergency is unacceptable and grounds for immediate dismissal.

Practice Attire: No jewelry or long/pointed nails are to be worn to practices or competitions. Appropriate practice wear and shoes should be worn each day to practice. Girls’ hair should be tied up away from the face.

Quitter’s Policy: If you or your athlete choose to quit the team before your year-contract ends, there will be no refunds of any kind. Additionally, a $250 quit fee will be charged to your card on file.

Closed Practice Policy: Team practices will be closed to parent viewing. This ensures complete athlete focus and keeps the routine/team skills more of a surprise so that seeing it at competition is that much more special for our families!

— We will have occasional days for you to be able to come in and see your athlete’s progress. Specific dates related to open practice viewing will be posted in your monthly calendars.

Payment Policy: Each family must have a card on file in their Parent Portal account, which will be auto-charged on the 1st of each month for tuition. Cash or check is also accepted. If your payment is not received, a $25 late fee will be added to your account. Nspire All-Stars can dismiss athletes due to non-payment.

Positivity Pledge: At Nspire All-Stars, we strive to be a positive and welcoming place where athletes can grow and shine. Together we strive to be a family, each of us playing a small role in building our program in our community. Let’s make this a place you would want your child to be part of. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated, nor will talking negatively about an athlete, coach, family, or the team/program be tolerated, either in person or online. Nspire All-Stars will dismiss any athlete or parent who is creating a hostile or negative environment in our program.
