Buckeye Telesystems is having an issue with Verizon numbers calling direct numbers at SFS. They are working on the issue, but if you receive a busy signal, please add 1 in front of the number and it should connect. You may also call the main number (419-531-1618) and dial the extension and it should connect as well.

A message from Washington Local Schools

To Our Neighbors in Education,

Our records show that you currently have or have had students who reside in our district attend your schools. During this unprecedented event, we wanted to reach out to inform you of our plans to provide meals to our community.

Pending any changes from the Governor, beginning on Wednesday, March 18, Washington Local Schools will provide grab-and-go lunches and the following day’s breakfast for any child under the age of 18. This is a free meal service. You do not have to be a Washington Local student to receive a meal.

Grab-and-go lunches (along with a breakfast) will be available at all elementary schools and the Preschool/ALC Building Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. and at all Elementary Buildings (not ALC) 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. Children under the age of 18 can go to any elementary school to pick up.

Additionally, there will be five (5) distribution routes to reach those areas not within a walk-radius of an elementary building. Those routes will run from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and can be found on the Washington Local Schools website.

I am sure you have your own plans in place for providing meals to your students, but we wanted to inform you of our plan in case you have students unable to travel to your buildings or access your meal options.

Please let us know if you have any questions about our program. Take care of yourself and others.
