Sick Child/Illness Policy

Students visiting with a school should not be sick or exhibiting symptoms of sickness. Any student that shows symptoms of sickness will be asked to remain with a designated school staff member to wait in an area separate from other students and exhibit play. The student will remain with a staff member until boarding school transportation or parent pick up.

Symptoms include: Fever of 99F or higher, vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours, and an open wound that could transmit pathogens from person to person or a play surface. Visiting students should not show signs of pink eye, undiagnosed rash, or head lice.
