The Board of Education had identified the following goals for the St. Clair R-13 School District:
- Students- Provide an educational environment that will ensure all students the opportunity to reach their fullest potential for success.
- Personnel- Employ, grow, and retain a well-qualified, motivated, and productive staff
- Community- Build positive relationships with the community to increase active involvement in the school district for the benefit of students
- Facilities- Proactively maintain, acquire, and build the educational facilities necessary to properly serve and enrich school programs
- Governance- Continue in-service for the Board of Education on 21st century issues impacting student academic growth.

St. Clair R-XIII Comprehensive School Improvement Plan 2017-2022 | Student Performance: Develop and enhance quality educational/instructional programs to improve student performance and enable students to meet their personal, academic, and career goals.
