Girls with the Fiona sign- ACT LIKE VANNA WHITE- Game show- excited and happy!!

LIGHTS- spot on shrek when he blows them away and when he is standing next to baby shrek

CAST ONSTAGE AND BACKSTAGE SINGERS- sing loud

CREW- Open curtain earlier- before shrek begins singing. You missed that cue and he didn’t get to use his sign prop

Donkey- try to face the audience a little more right at the beginning so they can read what your TShirt says :)

LIGHTS: During the line “He has a talking donkey that part I didn’t know- stop strobe- then start again after that line

Lights: fade after the dragon is behind bars

SOUND: Can you put echo on Fiona screaming “NOW” during the take off your helmet scene

SHREK: When you point to the cave- point to the actual cave

Shrek: You can move more/use stage more if you

Fiona: You HAVE to be an ogre at the end of of this song

Morning Song

Fiona: When you throw the deer of stage- react like- “oops! Oh well!”

Fiona: Put your hands on your hips while you’re tapping when you’re not sure what to do with your hands

Fiona- can you wear a sports bra for your dancing?

Tappers: Smile!

Tappers: WE’ve got to clean up your dance. It’s so close but not crisp. Lines need be straight, move hands at the same time, match your tapping sounds with your feet etc.

Fiona- cheat out to the audience more during your verses- then look back a shrek during the “i think i got you beat, yeahs”

Donkey- you can have funnier responses to their stories if you want. Like- you have empathy for them are are shocked they went through all that.

Fahrquaad and Guards: Just be standing- do not lay on the bench- it looks too weird!

Crew: Do not put bench on stage for this scene

Guards: Spacing during the “DJ” part.

Fahrquaad: make sure your fake legs are facing front

Donkey:  Get in between Fiona and Shrek during, “He’s gonna do it”

Donkey:  get closer to shrek on, “You have no feelings at all?”

Fiona and make up!  It looks great!  Nice job in the barn!

When Words Fail

Fiona: you are still an ogre at the end of that scene

Shrek you need to wait for the applause at the end of when words fail before moving to the barn.  

Farquaad Entrance

Farquaad:  Come out on stage on the last long FIOOOOOONA

Freak Flag:

Peter Pan:  Clap your hands fast.  Don’t punch your hand! And speak clearly

Gingy needs bandages on his legs

Monica: Sing as Gingy when you use the Gingy voice, then sing as your other character when you use your real voice. ALSO- always cheat Gingy to the front not the side

CAST: SING VERY LOUD- It’s hard to hear you.

CAST: THis song should be EXPLODING with energy. BRING! IT!

Pinochio- wait to yell TO DULOC until audience clapping dies down

Stage crew when the lights come on.  Stay where you are.  If you can see the audience, we see you.

Wedding:

Mics: Offstage mics need to be louder

Laugh sign: Make sure it’s the right side up (today it was upside down)

Fiona when Shrek starts singing to you, turn away for a bit…..until he takes your hand then start listening to him.

Farquaad:  When dad comes out you need to be more whiny and crying than …..angry.

CAST: There is a lot of music where you should be reacting- react all the time that you are on stage! Never stop reacting big and in character!

Fiona you have to have your nose on for the ending transformation!

CAST: To get to the aisles- if you stand in the corner, let the aisle people go by first, then pop into the corner.

** Travel song **Sara- Molly **Shrek and Donkey- stay on the side until you’re done singing **Crew if you forget the tree don’t take it off in the middle of the song. Crew- take bridge off in the blackout **Maybe get rid of lion King to give more tonight for the bridge to come out

Tower: Fiona- can you be more excited when you hear shrek coming

Crew- when you take the tower off- go on stage from behind the tower not in front

** When Fahrquaad calls forward the guard he needs to step toward him
