Mechanics:

Before starting, mark the cardinal positions with A, B, C, and D markers. Assign spots around the boss for each separate role (tank, healer, DPS), as well as a cardinal position that is not south. In our group, we have:

Phase One:

Reprimand

Medium raid-wide AoE damage.

Nightfall

Tsukuyomi will pull out a weapon and do a voice line, indicating the next damaging mechanic.

Lead of the Underworld (Gun)

Steel of the Underworld (Spear)

Nightbloom

Heavy raid-wide AoE damage, as well as signifying a phase transition.

Phase Two Adds:

Tether adds increase Suffering and must be dealt with ASAP. Bad things happen if Suffering reaches 100. Ranged adds do not move, and tether adds tether onto Yotsuyu in the middle of the arena.

Wave 1:

Spectre of the Matriarch and Spectre of the Patriarch tether @ N

Spectre of the Homeland Ranged x3 @ W

Spectre of the Homeland Melee x3 @ E

Wave 2:

Spectre of Asahi tether @ NE

Spectre of the Empire Ranged x3 @ SW

Spectre of the Empire Melee x3 @ SE

Concentrativity (AoE + knockback)

Wave 3:

Spectre of Zenos tether @ S

Phase Three:

Supreme Selenomancy

Tsukuyomi will divide the arena into Moonlit (white) and Moonshadow (black) areas. Standing in any area inflicts a Moonlit or Moonshadow debuff periodically. At five stacks, you gain a moderate bleed debuff and a 2 second Doom debuff, which will instantly kill any player who does not move into the opposite colour immediately. Players start with three of a random debuff.

Lunar Halo

Moons spawn that emit a dynamo AoE around them. Standing in one will give a bleed.

Moonfall Meteors

The OT, a random healer, and a random DPS are targeted with meteor markers. As the marker resolves, a Moonfall meteor will fall onto their location. The meteor will place a large AoE (Moonfall), which detonates after a few seconds. If the meteors are too close to each other, they will explode, dealing heavy damage and inflicting a damage down debuff onto the raid. The meteor then takes the colour of the Selenomancy area it dropped on. After exploding a second time (Moonbeam), the meteor will leave behind a safe area granting a buff allowing the player to survive Antitwilight or Perilune, depending on the colour.

Midnight Rain

Turns the entire arena into Moonlit or Moonshadow. Summons multiple Lunar Halos.

Antitwilight or Perilune

Heavy raid-wide AoE damage. Removes Supreme Selenomancy. The spell cast is based on whether the arena is Moonlit or Moonshadow. Players must have the “Veil of Shadow” buff to survive Antitwilight and the “Veil of Light” buff to survive Perilune.

Dance of the Dead

Heavy raid-wide AoE damage. Signals the transition into Phase Four, the Blood Moon phase.

Dark Blade

A large AoE on Tsukuyomi’s right side - move to the left flank to avoid this. Getting hit will inflict a damage down and a vulnerability debuff.

Bright Blade

A large AoE on Tsukuyomi’s left side - move to the right flank to avoid this. Getting hit will inflict a damage down and a vulnerability debuff.

Waxing Grudge - Light of the Full Moon

AoE centered around Tsukuyomi during Dark Blade/Bright Blade. Inflicts a damage down debuff if hit. The tell is that the text will say “The light of the full moon infuses Tsukuyomi!” and her sword will be white. Move out to avoid.

Waning Grudge - Darkness of the New Moon

Donut AoE centered around Tsukuyomi during Dark Blade/Bright Blade. Inflicts a damage down debuff if hit. The tell is that the text will say “The darkness of the new moon infuses Tsukuyomi!” and her sword will be black. Stay inside hitbox to avoid.

Torment Unto Death

A heavy magical cleave buster on the MT that inflicts magic vulnerability. The OT must provoke during the cast.

Zashiki-asobi

Tsukuyomi summons fans that fall onto the arena. After a while, they explode into AoEs. They can either explode in a circular formation or in a sequential formation.

Lunacy

An AoE stack marker on a random player, dealing moderate damage. This is followed sequentially by four more AoEs targeted on said player.

Hagetsu

One Tank, Healer, and DPS are targeted to receive moderate AoE damage in succession.
