WCEU 2018 - SPEAKER WRANGLER MANAGER
Check-in time: 30 minutes before the first session of your shift starts
Meeting point: Volunteers headquarter
Contact person: #content team & Carole Olinger
You’ll be leading a team of 3 Speaker wranglers and contribute to the smooth running of the sessions and workshops during WordCamp Europe 2018. You are the connector between the Speaker wranglers and the WCEU Content team.
Here you can have a look at your team during your shift: When I Work
You can check who’s on your team by selecting the room assigned to you in the category “Job Sites” and/or by selecting the roles mentioned above in the category “Positions”.
In this video, we give further information about finding teammates and leads in When I Work.
You’ll work also closely with the #Content team to keep them updated: a member of the Content team will be present at each of the two Green rooms at every time.
These are your main tasks during your shift:
Before your shift starts, we ask you to meet the Speaker wranglers and to give them briefly some instructions about their roles.
Meeting point: Volunteers headquarter
Time: 30 minutes before the first session of your shift starts
Your physical presence in one of the rooms during your shift is not necessary but you should be able to change rooms quickly to solve a problem.
A tight communication with speaker wranglers and the Content team, to which you are reporting to, is necessary.
