Good Afternoon Dawe School Dragon Families and Friends,

Happy Friday! I hope that this message finds you doing well and that you had a great week! We had an incredible week of school at the Dawe with two 4th and 5th Grade Chorus Rehearsals, an Awesome Dawesome PTO Meeting, exciting 5th Grade Water Presentations via the Neponset River Watershed Association, an incredible 4th and 5th Grade Holiday Concert/Performance, a schoolwide Holiday/Winter Sweater Day, an electronic Report Card dispersal for Trimester 1, and we were able to end our week with Popcorn Friday/Spirit Day! If you are interested in bringing a food item or running a cultural presentation/workshop during our Diversity at the Dawe Celebration Night on January 24th, please fill out the form included below or send me an email directly at r_cancellieri@stoughtonschools.org. IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Please send your child(ren) to school with a snack each day
Every Friday will be a “Spirit Day” at the Dawe - students and teachers are invited to wear New England Sports Gear, Dawe Dragon Gear, Black & Orange for Stoughton Pride, Crocs with Socks, or anything else they would love to wear to show school spirit!
If possible, please send your child(ren) to school with a reusable water bottle that can be filled throughout the day using our filtered water dispensers
If you think that you may be interested in volunteering this year (field trips, events, mystery reader, etc.), please be sure to fill out and return CORI forms and complete your fingerprinting as early in the year as possible
If you are bringing your child(ren) to school late (after 8:35 am), you must accompany them in the building to sign them in
If your child(ren) is going to be absent from school, please be sure to contact the main office and/or clinic
If you need assistance getting a backpack, please do not hesitate to reach out as we have many in the school that have been generously donated to us
If you need to dismiss your child(ren) prior to the end of the school day, please be sure to email/inform their classroom teacher so that the information can be shared with our main office as soon as possible
