All hail the power of Jesus' Name

Let angels prostrate fall

Bring forth the royal diadem

And crown Him Lord of all

Bring forth the royal diadem

And crown Him Lord of all

Ye chosen seed of Israel's race

Ye ransomed from the fall

Hail Him Who saves you by His grace

And crown Him Lord of all

Hail Him Who saves you by His grace

And crown Him Lord of all

Chorus

Raise up the crown rise on the praises

Rest on the brow of the King of the Ages

Raise up the crown rise on the praises

Rest on the brow of the King of the Ages

O that with yonder sacred throng

We at His feet may fall

We'll join the everlasting song

And crown Him Lord of all

We'll join the everlasting song

And crown Him Lord of all

Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come,

Thy Will be done,

On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread,

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen

Matthew 28:16–20

[16] Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. [17] And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. [18] And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (ESV)

Hebrews 4:14–16

[14] Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. [15] For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. [16] Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (ESV)

Crown Him with Many Crowns,

.Crown Him with many crowns,

The Lamb upon His throne.

Hark! How the heavenly anthem drowns

All music but its own.

Awake, my soul and sing Of Him

Who died for thee,

And hail Him as thy matchless King

Through all eternity.

Crown Him the Lord of love,

Behold His hands and side,

Rich wounds, yet visible above,

In beauty glorified.

No angel in the sky

Can fully bear that sight,

But downward bends His wond'ring eye

At mysteries so bright.

Crown Him the Lord of life,

Who triumphed o'er the grave,

Who rose victorious to the strife

For those He came to save.

His glories now we sing,

Who died, and rose on high

Who died eternal life to bring,

And lives that death may die.

Poetry: “There and Back Again” Janna Welch

Those with strength,

Perseverance and determination

Stand eagerly in the shallows,

Glancing left and right

To fellow swimmers,

Sharing quips and challenges.

Then the signal.

The goal: there and back again,

Dock to shore

And return.

Straight across.

However,

Easy it is not,

Though light and clarity help the passage.

But what of dark mornings

And fog covered waters?

Even the most skilled and experienced

Might find themselves

Ill at ease.

This is where guides

Will give aid.

If one is wise and willing,

4 stalwart and bright guardians

Will show the way

Without which,

One might wander,

Or lose their way

For a time.

As well, fellow swimmers

Band together, to nudge,

Encourage, or yell,

To help each other

Towards the goal.

The first-timers, the old timers,

It matters not,

Wise are they

That use those aids,

There and Back again.

So, too,

Travelers on the narrow road,

Whose final destination is the kingdom

And whose goal: to meet the king

and find haven, taking their final rest in the Father’s arms.

They, too, if they are wise will

Use the guides along the way.

For the narrow road is hard,

And only traversed by those with strength, perseverance and determination,

Like those who dare the lake.

There is another road, an easy way,

wide and paved

And is not

In need of posts and guides.

All are welcome and see

Easy as “good”.

But, beware, because

No wisdom or aid is visible.

Only fools whose end is dark,

Do not see

The absence as a clue

To beware the road

Being taken.

Ah, but the narrow road, the hard road,

The road chosen by the steadfast

of heart and will.

This road is only seen by those

Who have peeled back

The layers inside

And see their weakness and need

And cry out for salvation.

At that moment,

A miracle occurs,

And the soul is filled with light and life,

Purpose and a road

To travel through life,

Where the path ends

At the home of the King.

But until the end and heaven’s begin,

We walk the path.

Using the strength, perseverance, and determination

To go the hard way,

In clear days and dark,

Or when fog

Covers the path.

On this, path,

Guides do stand and will give aid.

If one is wise and willing.

The Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, God’s holy word, and fellow travelers

Are just some

Who show the way,

And without which,

One might wander

And lose their way

For a time.

The first timers and old timers,

It matters not,

Wise are they

That use that aid,

There and back again.

Alleluia, Alleluia

Alleluia, alleluia!

Hearts to heav'n and voices raise:

sing to God a hymn of gladness,

sing to God a hymn of praise.

He, who on the cross a victim

for the world's salvation bled,

Jesus Christ, the King of glory,

now is risen from the dead.

Now the iron bars are broken,

Christ from death to life is born,

glorious life, and life immortal,

on the holy Easter morn.

Christ has triumphed, and we conquer

by His mighty enterprise;

we with Him to life eternal

by His resurrection rise.

Alleluia, alleluia!

Glory be to God on high!

Alleluia! to the Savior

who has gained the victory!

Alleluia! to the Spirit,

fount of love and sanctity!

Alleluia, alleluia

to the Triune Majesty
