Writing:

Poetry: Alliteration

Watch this video lesson.

In a writer’s notebook or on a Google Doc, write 3-5 sentences that use alliteration. You can edit titles from stories you have written, create new titles for stories or poems you want to write, write sentences about your animal from your research project, or write sentences about other ideas you can come up with.

When you’re done writing sentences, print and complete the practice page here. If you can’t print it, copy the sentences into your writer’s notebook and find the alliterations.

If you have time, read (or reread) some poems on the Poetry Padlet and see if you can find alliteration in any of them!
