We are a community seeking a pastor to help our congregation grow in Christ, strengthen our relationship with one another, challenge the congregation and deepen our understanding of scripture.
We are located in a suburban area of St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and our demographic is drawn from many neighbouring communities in the Niagara region. We currently have 290 professing and non-professing members with an approximate attendance of around 170 per Sunday.
Gathering and celebrating together in weekly worship is the core of our communal life and fellowship. To meet the diverse worshipping styles, our worship is liturgical, contemplative and interactive. Our Worship Director leads an engaging worship service where we blend music styles and use a variety of instruments and occasional choral choirs. Once a month we meet and worship around tables for Table Church where we share food, lessons & discussions around tables, deepening our relationship and our faith.
Jubilee is a community of faith where we recognize that ALL persons are created in the image of God, loved unconditionally by God, and are welcome as part of our church family. We also recognize that sincere and committed Christians can and do hold a range of views on many issues and that while we may understand Scripture differently, we still commit to loving all within our community regardless of these differences. We make decisions both in the congregation and in Council through consensus and are committed to working towards being a Restorative practices church.
We believe that small groups are an essential part of our community, deepening our faith journey, learning and praying together. We gather on Wednesday nights to share a meal, where following the meal various groups are offered including GEMS, Cadets, Youth and several Adult Education Small Groups. This is an opportunity for outreach and connection.
Some of our central values are strong teaching, learning, intergenerational ministries, vibrant and artistic worship and outreach. We are a church that values inclusion, welcome and hospitality for and by everyone.

- we are open to male or female applicants
- there is no requirement for a specific number of years of ministry experience but a suitable person should be wise and caring enough to lead a congregation that is diverse in background, age and perspectives
- required language is English
