Registered Behavior Technician Requirements and Job Description

Registered Behavior Technicians considered for employment by Full Spectrum ABA Therapy will meet the following requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma at a minimum, bachelor’s degree preferred with coursework in behavior analysis or other related field.
• Complete 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician. (FS will provide this to individuals who are not currently RBT credentialed)
• Maintain recertification of RBT training annually.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Implement 1-on-1 direct therapy with clients
• Receive training on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for each consumer on their case load.
• Implement BIPs as written.
• Provide services to consumers based on hours set by the Behavior Analyst.
• Collect data on a daily basis and provide to the Behavior Analyst on a daily basis.
• Communicate regularly with the Behavior Analyst.
• Implement the BIPs in all relevant settings.
• Attend meetings regarding consumer’s behavior services as necessary.
• Receive trauma informed care training and implement trauma informed therapy with clients.
• Engage and interact with clients in a fun and motivating way.
• Receive and implement constructive feedback
• Follow FS employee policies and procedures.
• Maintain a supportive and collaborative work environment with co-workers
• Complete billing notes accurately and in a timely manner
