Centre Stage is Hiring Overhire Technicians

Lighting, Scenic Construction, & Special Projects (Hourly, As-Needed)

Centre Stage, a professional producing theatre in downtown Greenville, SC, is seeking skilled overhire technicians to support upcoming productions and creative build projects. We are especially looking for individuals with experience in:

• Lighting hang and focus
• Basic wiring and electrics
• Scenic construction and carpentry
• Creative fabrication using nontraditional materials (e.g., foam carving, sculptural elements, flexible scenic builds)

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a professional or educational theatre setting
• Comfort with ladders, power tools, and theatrical rigging
• Ability to work from plans as well as think creatively on your feet
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication
• Flexibility with scheduling—Mostly daytime hours some evenings and weekends may be required.

Position Details:

• Hourly rate based on experience
• Work is project-based and scheduled per production needs
• Separate contracts will be issued for crew/stagehand work if applicable
