B. Practice development

I believe my biggest role right now is to prove myself a very competent business person to clients, so that they will look to PW for other needs.

I also must critically analyze information I gain regarding clients to identify other client service opportunities.  I will concentrate on understand information systems and make meaningful recommendations concerning accounting hardware and software.

I have a responsibility to become involved business organizations, and plan to join a software related management organization to develop personal management contacts.

C. People development.

I want to be involved in recruiting.  I can attend firm sponsored functions.  I can take the time to identify and build relationships with potential staff.  I can support school functions and continue relationships with professors.

I have a responsibility to train current PW staff on the computer.  I can identify ways we can do things more effectively and train others to look for similar opportunities.

I can be honest in performance evaluations and giving feedback to those I work for.

II.LONG-TERM OBJECTIVES:

Develop a specialty in computer software and related products auditing, but not at the expense of developing a strong general business and accounting background.

Develop computer auditing skills to provide support to the office on

(1) larger audit engagement by planning compliance work to reducing substantive work to increase realization,

(2) internal control engagements by more effectively evaluating computer risks, and

(3) other audit engagement by utilizing computer auditing and thus performing more efficient audits.

Participate in and MCS engagement.
