What characteristics make people vote for a particular candidate?

Why do you think that politicians have a reputation for being dishonest?

-Because they may agree to something and then a week later learn that what they were supporting kills animals so they back out and in the eyes of the public that can be seen as deriving the and being dishonest.

1. How is sedgewick affected by the news that the narrator will be meeting with his father?

-He is scared and insists he will do better in school and behave better so he starts to pick it up at school and improves his knowledge

2. Describe the interaction between the narrator and the senator

-The interaction between the senator and narrator was pretty tense feeling, the narrator was explaining how he molds his boys to be better people and the reaction from the senator was very defensive as he said something like  “I will mold my boy, you will merely teach my boy”

3. How do you think the senators personality affects his son?

-I think the senators personality affects his son in a way the his son is rebelling by in the beginning of coming to St.benedicts he was a distracted hooligan.

4. How does the interaction between the narrator and the senator impact the narrator's relationship with sedgewick

-The interaction between the narrator and the senator impacts the way the narrator and sedgewick get a long, for example after that meeting the narrator becomes more soft towards him because he can now understand why he acts a certain way and he wants to better him.
