Welcome to Flipside Vinyl Club!

If this is your first time here, please read this.

What is Flipside?

  1. Flipside is a free record listening and sharing club held at Syzygy, a member-supported organization sustained through member fees and participant donations. If you’d like to donate to Syzygy, there are QR links around the space. We also accept cash donations.
  2. You are not required to participate.
  3. If you don’t own any records and would like to participate, you can borrow records from the San Francisco Public Library with a library card.
  4. This event is BYOB. You’re also welcome to bring in food. Snacks on the kitchen table are for everyone.
  5. If you have any feedback, please email us at flipsidebayarea@gmail.com

Inclusivity Statement

Our goal is to establish a setting where everyone is treated with respect, feels appreciated, and is included. We value diversity in all its manifestations, including background, ability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, and ethnicity. We work to make sure that every voice is heard and valued because we think that our differences make us stronger. Any form of exclusion, harassment, or discrimination will not be accepted.

Safe Space Statement

Everyone is invited to speak openly without fear of harm. Respectful dialogue, active listening, and openness are encouraged. Participants are expected to be kind, considerate, and supportive with one another. Anyone who might feel uncomfortable or unsafe is welcomed to express a concern, and we will seek them out with discretion and compassion. Together we form a trusting and understanding community built on mutual respect.
