Dear Families:

In just a few short months, your student will be moving up to EIGHTH GRADE.  As we are planning for the 2023-2024 school year please be aware that eighth-grade students are required to take the following six COURSES:

• Bible 8
• English 8
• US History 8
• Science 8
• Math 8 or Algebra I (determined by NWEA/Standardized test scores, math grades and teacher recommendation - these determinations are made before the end of the school year)
• Physical Education and MS Civics (each class is a semester long)

Eighth-grade students may choose from the following ELECTIVES. Some options may change and/or additional choices may be available as we get closer to the beginning of the new school year. In the meantime, please select your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices. If you took a course(s) this year, you can take them again next year or choose new courses.

Any consideration for high school level/credit receiving courses must be made through Administration and is not guaranteed.

To ensure course placement, please fill out the following form and return it to the secondary office by April 14, 2023.
