  1. Graf (AVP of Academic Affairs): working on Course Evaluations and revamping how that process works; going to start the process for the Golden Apple Awards soon
  2. Eric (Communications Officer): going to be reaching out soon and getting your information for the website and social media
  3. Sam (Government Relations): planning Day at the Capitol; March 1st is the date for the event
  4. Kayla (AVP of Student Organizational Affairs): numbers left in each account: Individual: $10,206.00, Direct: $14,155.07, Joint: $18,025.00; more information about the ASBSU financial code available at this link https://www.boisestate.edu/asbsu/the-governing-documents-of-asbsu/#financial-code ; Financial Code can be really overwhelming, if you are interested in learning more, Taite would be more than happy to walk you through the basics
  5. Grace (AVP of Inclusive Excellence): wanted to congratulate Amelia and Angel for becoming new members of IESC; looking at how to make the Title IX process more efficient and more accessible
  6. Sarah (Vice President): officially sent out letter of intent with new dining partner, Chartwells; they do food for several other colleges; month left to write the contract; Bronco Giving Day is on the horizon, philanthropic campaign, showing off the Maker Lab

  1. BroncoFit Presentation        
  1. Discussed what BroncoFit is (campus-wide initiative to improve the health of campus); what they do (alcohol education (standard drinks, BAC), sexual health (consent, STDs, healthy relationships, condoms), and mental health (meditation, resilience, self care, holiday blues, dog therapy)), can find their event schedule online on the BSU website; we completed a survey for BroncoFit addressing what populations they are reaching regularly since they are curious about how to broaden their campus platform.

  1. Some Senate members are experiencing scheduling issues, Graf trying to figure out better ways to set up meetings and things in the future; Graf discussed committees, asked for highlights and any possible suggestions for the future
  1. David Stolworthy talked about how he was on the Ethics Committee last semester, he doesn’t think it would be ethical for him to be on that same committee again but it’s the only one that works for his schedule; Graf said it’s important to have at least one Senate member on the Ethics Committee
  2. Delaney O’Keefe asked where/what time Ethics meets, David Stolworthy explained that it’s not super consistent, he said they just check your schedule to see when they meet. Graf asked if Delaney was interested in joining and Delaney said she is thinking about it. Maren Long said she was interested in joining the Ethics Committee as well.
  3. Graf asked if anyone wanted to switch committees, Francesca D’Alessandro mentioned she wanted to switch from the #BelieveBroncos committee to the Mental Health Committee, Graf said he would figure it out. David Stolworthy mentioned he would like to switch committees as well, he wanted to switch from the Mental Health Committee to #BelieveBroncos.
  4. Ended the discussion with how we are feeling about this semester and how easy/difficult we think the semester is going to be.
  5. Maren Long asked if she could possibly switch to the Government Relations Committee, Graf said he would let Sam know.
